About Brighton Nutrition Review

Who we are, how we evaluate supplements, and the editorial principles behind every review we publish.

Our purpose

Brighton Nutrition Review was founded to address a straightforward problem: the plant-based supplement market in the UK is large, fast-growing, and poorly served by objective editorial coverage. Most online reviews are written by affiliates with a financial interest in the outcome, or by generalist writers without a nutrition background.

We do things differently. Our reviews start with the ingredient list, cross-reference each nutrient claim against the EFSA Register of Authorised Claims, and assess whether the product delivers its stated nutritional purpose at the stated serving size. We then look at price, return policy, manufacturing provenance, and honest lifestyle fit.

We do not make weight-loss promises, reproduce before/after imagery, or publish testimonials that reference health conditions. Our standard is simple: would we be comfortable if a Trading Standards officer read every word on this site? If yes, it stays. If not, it goes.

Our editorial standards

  • Every nutrient-function claim is traced to an EFSA-authorised reference before publication.
  • Supplement prices and return policies are verified at time of writing and noted with a publication date.
  • Reader testimonials are presented with a disclaimer and no health-outcome claims.
  • We do not accept payment, free product, or affiliate commission in exchange for positive editorial coverage.
  • We identify food supplements clearly as such - not as medicines, treatments, or cures.

A note on Slim Coffee Booster

Our current featured review covers Slim Coffee Booster, a plant-based food supplement combining green coffee bean extract with EFSA-recognised nutrients including chromium, magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, and B vitamins. Our assessment focuses on ingredient transparency, nutrient function compliance, and lifestyle relevance - not on any weight-management outcome.

The product is available as a single-serve powder that dissolves in hot water, providing a 30-day supply per pack. It is manufactured in an EU-certified facility with documented ingredient traceability. A 14-day return policy applies per EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

Food supplements do not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
